Based in Atlanta and servicing clients throughout the U.S., Cadence Group is a woman-owned and WBE-certified information management company that helps business and government organizations efficiently acquire, organize and disseminate information.

This 50-person company combines the disciplines of information management, library science and technology services to help clients easily obtain and manage information tailored to their specific needs. As a result, clients optimize information assets, gain competitive advantages and get the highest return from their investment in people and technology. Whether you need research, records management, taxonomy development or the staff to run a physical or virtual library, Cadence Group provides the necessary Staffing, Consulting and Outsourcing services.

History
Cadence Group was formed in 1988 to provide computer consulting, project management and business communications services to the private sector. In 1991, the Board of Directors recognized the value that a company with expertise in both computer consulting services and library services could offer. The Board made a decision to move into the library services industry to offer a comprehensive set of library management, research, outsourcing and staffing services.

In 1992, Cadence Group successfully began providing services to federal and state government agencies. Cadence Group has the necessary government agreements to conduct business with the federal or local governments. This includes a five-year GSA schedule contract and registrations with PRO-Net and the Central Contractor Registration System of the Department of Defense.

In 1996, Cadence Group changed its focus and began to fully utilize the blend of library science, research and technology skills to offer professional services and technology solutions that enable clients to easily obtain and manage information. For almost 20 years Cadence Group has consistently received excellent service ratings from clients and has thus maintained long-standing relationships.

Expansion
In July of 2003, Cadence Group announced the opening of its Washington, D.C. office. The new office allows Cadence Group to leverage its experience in the federal government sector and legal community and to more effectively service outsourcing clients in the Northeast. The company is well positioned to help corporations and agencies based in D.C. cost effectively acquire, organize and disseminate information, which is the business challenge every organization faces.
